God just laid it on my heart to call a well known leader in my community where I live and tell her how much I appreciate all the assistance she have given me for the last six years. We have never met, only spoken on the telephone when I had business that I needed to discuss with her. She got very quiet, cleared her throat and said “I really needed this right now. You don’t know what is going on in my life right this minute”. She then shared her heart with me.
We talked for about fifteen minutes and I read her one of my writings over the phone. She is an extremely busy woman, but she needed to know that Jesus Loves her and understands the pain in her heart. She kept thanking me and said “Now, I can deal with this issue with a smile on my face and peace in my heart”.
If God lays someone on your heart to encourage, do not wait. We don’t know what is going on in that person’s life. An Evangelist once said, “That is the watering of the Holy Spirit when we act as soon as He quickens our hearts. You may need encouraging yourself someday, so you need to give encouragement to others”.
I don’t know what’s going on in your life and heart today, but I have a Friend that knows, and His Name is Jesus. He sees the hurt and tears in your heart. He Loves you and is waiting to kiss away your tears. Put your hand in the Precious Hand of Jesus, the Christ of Calvary.
