A JOYFUL DAY

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

One day, all the heartaches and sorrows of this life will be over. Jesus is coming back for us and it will be a joyful and glorious day for those who are saved. However, for those who have not made a heart commitment to Jesus, it will be a tragic day as there will not be another opportunity for them to accept Him as their personal Saviour. In the light of this tragedy, everything else in life should be secondary. We need to direct all our time and efforts to loving our families and friends to Jesus.

I receive so many emails from people who tell me they have broken hearts and broken homes. There is so much pain and despair in our hearts and homes. We have allowed satan to steal our joy and peace. When we start feeling depressed and discouraged, we need to run as fast as we can into the waiting arms of Jesus. His arms of Love are open to us day and night.

If we put as much time into loving people to Jesus as we do into television and sports, there would be a lot less sadness in this world. Everything that we say or do should be to bring honor to Jesus and to make Him happy.

Are you ready to meet Jesus? Have you made your reservation for Heaven? Have you opened your heart and life to the Christ of Calvary? Have you said yes to Jesus, the Saviour of the world? If not, please don’t wait as He may come back today.
