ALL ALONE

“Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.”

John 16: 32 King James Version

I have received several emails from people telling me they feel all alone in this world. Everyone left Jesus, but He said He was not alone because His Father was with Him during that heartbreaking time. We are never alone if we have Jesus as our personal Saviour and Friend.

I felt all alone for years and especially when I was with people. There are no words to describe the pain when you feel totally alone. It took the Amazing Love, Mercy, and Grace of Jesus deposited in my heart to give me a purpose and reason to live. Without Jesus, life is meaningless! He is the Rock of my salvation, the Air I breathe, and the Joy of my heart.

Many times when we are in a group setting, we tend to ignore new people and that hurts them. When we visit a church and nobody speaks to us, we feel very isolated and alone. One time when I was searching for a new church back in Texas, I visited three churches and not one person spoke to me. A couple of people did shake my hand. We need to be sure that we aren’t the ones who ignore people, especially visitors to our church.

If you’re feeling all alone today, reach your hand up to Jesus. He understands and will take you by your hand and walk with you. You will never feel alone again if you have invited Jesus into your heart.
