I’m sure a lot of us have had embarrassing days. One of my embarrassing days was when I had diarrhea and was unable to get to the bathroom in time. Another embarrassing moment happened at Wal-Mart. I had gone to the restroom and when I came back out into the store a lady leaned over and whispered in my ear that the paper toilet seat cover was hanging out of my pants.
While those events embarrassed me, if I don’t live my life serving Jesus and telling others how much He Loves them, I will really be embarrassed when I see Him face to face. I will be very embarrassed when I remember how I pierced His Heart when I said cruel, spiteful, and sarcastic words to people.
When you see Jesus, how will you feel? Will you be able to look Him in the eye without being embarrassed for the way you lived your life? How many times have you pierced His Heart by your words and actions to others?
We need to live our lives to please Jesus and make Him happy. He does so much for us and asks so little of us. If we have made a heart commitment to Jesus and He lives in our hearts, we need to not embarrass Him by the way we treat others.
