Jesus, we praise You for all You have done for us. We thank You for loving us so much that You died on a cross of torture for us. Because of Your sacrificial death and the shedding of Your precious atoning blood, we have the assurance of a home in Heaven with You for all eternity. Indeed, there is no one like You! You are so lovely, kind, tender, understanding, gracious, forgiving, merciful and full of compassion.
I thank You so much that one glorious day You came to me when I couldnít go to You. Thank You for loving me, for Your unconditional love for me, above all, thank You for saving me. You are worthy to be praised, respected, adored, honored and loved. Thank You for taking the sadness, the depression, the loneliness and the hurt from my heart and replacing them with joy, happiness, excitement and with Your peace, the peace that the world canít give and the world canít take away.
As long as we are on this earth, we will have problems, heartaches and crises but we donít have to live in defeat and discouragement. Jesus is waiting with His arms open wide and a heart full of unconditional love and compassion for you to run into them. He longs to hug you, hold you close to His loving heart, comfort you and wipe your tears away with His tender kisses of love. Climb up on His lap of love and allow Him to make everything right in your life.
Even though Jesus was humiliated, tortured, ridiculed, mocked, scorned, beaten, spat upon, criticized, judged and crucified, He still loves us. There is no love like the love of Jesus and our Heavenly Father. Are you praising Him all the time or are you just praising Him when things are going your way? If you canít find anything to praise Him for, you can praise Him for dying for you and for loving you. You can thank Him for the air you breathe, the clothes you wear, the beds you sleep in, the food that you eat, the cars that you drive and all the other material comforts that He gives us out of His desire to make us happy. If you are not praising Him, then you are hurting Him.
