We put on underwear under our clothes before we leave home but many times we don’t finish getting dressed. Jesus has given us everything that we need to have a victorious day but often we neglect to put on the clothes that He has provided for us. We must put on the shield of faith so that we have protection from the poisonous barbs of satan and the world. We need to walk in truth and righteousness with the help of Jesus. All of us should be telling the good news of our risen Saviour and the peace that only He can give.
I have heard people say “God sure let me down today. I had a terrible day”. It is never His fault if we have a bad day. He has told us what we need to do to walk in victory and if we don’t do the things we should do to be victorious, it is our fault. If we read the newspaper and watch the news on television the first thing in the morning and neglect to spend time with Jesus, then we have no right to ask Him for anything. He is not to be put on the shelf and ignored until we need or want something. How dare we treat Him like that! He is Holy and should be treated with respect, dignity, awe and gratitude for what He has done for us.
Are you dressed and ready to face the day? Above all, has the blood of Jesus been applied to your heart for the forgiveness of sins? Have you asked Him to forgive you of your sins and come into your heart to be your personal Saviour? If not, you are in terrible danger and have nothing to protect you from satan. Say yes to Jesus before it is too late. You may not have another hour to live. Your family can’t do it for you as much as they want to do so. Unless Jesus lives in your heart, you will never go to heaven to be with Him and will spend eternity with satan. Please understand that Jesus Loves you so much that He allowed Himself to be crucified and tortured on a cross for you. Don’t keep rejecting Him and breaking His heart.
