Are you hungry for love and acceptance? Jesus is calling us to “come and dine”. While we need groceries that we buy at the store to survive, we also need His Love and mercy. The food that we buy from the store will soon be gone but His Love will be with us forever. Jesus is waiting to feed us with His Love.
We are hungry for understanding, compassion and hugs. All of us need each other. We need to be a support system for one another. We should be there for each other in the bad times as well as in the good times. We will have days of happiness but we will also have days of sorrow. If Jesus lives in our hearts, then His strength and compassion will get us through the difficult times.
There are many people in this world who are hungry to hear that somebody loves them and cares about them. Many people don’t believe that Jesus Loves them. It is up to us, the ones who claim to be Christians to prove to them that Jesus does Love them by the way we treat them. We need to go to Jesus daily, sometimes hourly, and ask Him to forgive us for the things we say and the way that we treat people.
Christians are not perfect people. They are sinners who have been forgiven and now have Jesus living in their hearts. Christians still make mistakes and sin, but hopefully they don’t do it on purpose. There was only one perfect person and His Name is Jesus.
