I’ve always wondered why God didn’t tell us when Jesus was going to come back for us. I think one of the reasons is we couldn’t concentrate on anything else. A very close friend who I haven’t talked to in a year told me to call her tonight. I am so excited about getting to hear her voice again that I can hardly concentrate on what I need to be doing.
We don’t know the day and hour that Jesus is coming back, but He is coming and we need to be ready to go at any moment. We will not have time to ask for forgiveness for hurting Him. It will be too late. For those who have never asked Him into their hearts, they will be separated from Him for all Eternity. If I didn’t know without a shadow of doubt that I would be with Jesus for Eternity, I would go to bed and never get up again. He is my Life!
Many of us have loved ones who have never made a heart commitment to Jesus. We need to keep praying because God is Faithful. We need to live our lives so that our loved ones will see the difference Jesus makes in a heart touched by His Amazing Love. We can witness all day and all night to them, but if we don’t show them that we have changed, we will never win them to Jesus.
