On one of the Gaither Homecoming Videos that I have, one of the singers wrote a song to her husband to try and tell him how much she loves him. As she sings to him, you can see the tears flowing down his cheeks. The same is true with Jesus; as we sing love songs to Him tears of happiness run down His face.
Since Jesus deposited His Love in my heart, I am filled with love for Him and for others. Many times I try to tell Jesus how much I love Him, and how much I appreciate all that He has done for me. I get frustrated at times because I can’t find the right words to adequately describe how much I love Him. I start singing to Him in my heart, and then I can’t help but sing aloud to Him.
Jesus is the Saviour of the world. He shed His Precious Blood so that you and I might be saved and live with Him for Eternity. He is the Best Friend you will ever have. He never leaves you, not even for a minute. When you are weak, He is strong. When you cry, He cries with you. When you are happy, He rejoices with you.
Jesus is the Song in my heart. He Loves me, forgives me, cleanses me, carries me, and understands me. He is the One Who gives me the Joy that I have in my heart even in the midst of heartbreak. To Jesus I say, “Worthy is the Lamb of God”!
Do you have this Precious Song in your heart today? If not, I urge you to open your heart to the Saviour of the world. He will give you a Joy and Peace that nothing or nobody can give you. He will stand by you when everybody else leaves you.
