BE AN ENCOURAGER

"They helped every one his neighbor; and every one said to his brother, Be of good courage. So the carpenter encouraged the goldsmith, and he that smootheth with the hammer him that smote the anvil, saying, It is ready for the sodering: and he fastened it with nails, that it should not be moved."

Isaiah 41: 6,7 King James Version

Last night I had the privilege of talking to a Pastor that I had when I lived in Texas. God had laid the Pastor on my heart for two weeks and told me to call. I had called with the intention of encouraging the Pastor, but not only was the Pastor encouraged; I was encouraged also.

These verses tell us that we are to encourage one another. It says that he fastened it with nails. We need to be such encouragers to one another that satan will never be able to sneak up on our family, loved ones, and friends. All of us need encouragement; the person who thinks that he or she does not need encouragement is deceiving himself or herself.

Have you encouraged anyone today by telling him or her that Jesus Loves him or her? We can tell someone that we love that person and it may help, but it takes the Amazing Love of Jesus to give someone Peace, Joy and Happiness.
