It was cool when I got up this morning, and I had to put the afghan over me while I was sitting in the recliner. It only took an hour for me to get warm. When our hearts are cold with grief, despair, heartache, and terror, only Jesus can warm us with His Afghan of Love.
We will always have summer and winter while the earth remains, just as we will always have heartaches and joy while we live. I can tell you from personal experience that Joy does come in the morning. It may seem like a long, long night, but the morning does come and the Love of Jesus restores the Joy to our hearts.
What is the temperature of your heart today? Is it on fire with the Love of Jesus, or is it freezing with the hatred of satan? Have you allowed satan to put out the warmth that Jesus placed in your heart? If so, then I urge you to climb up on the Lap of Jesus and let Him warm you again with His Understanding, Grace, Mercy, and Love.
