I have read of cases where people having blood transfusions have had negative results and serious complications. When Jesus deposits His precious Blood into our hearts, there are always positive results. Just as sometimes it is necessary to have a blood transfusion to live, it is always necessary to have the Precious Blood of Jesus applied to our hearts in order to go to Heaven.
All of the money we spend on others, all of our good deeds, and anything else we do on this earth can’t buy us a place in Heaven. The Blood of Jesus is completely free to us, but it cost Him everything. Easter is nearing and just as He arose that day, allow Him to rise in your heart.
When Jesus was crucified for us, He took on Him all of our sins so that we don’t have to pay the penalty. Our sins were buried with Him. Many times we dig our sins back up by the way we live our lives. We continue to be hateful, critical, sarcastic, and judgmental of other people.
Has the Blood of Jesus been applied to your heart? Have you opened your heart’s door to the Christ of Calvary? Jesus suffered an agonizing death for us so that we may live with Him for Eternity. Don’t let His suffering be in vain by rejecting Him.
