GOD’S COMPASSION

"For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall."

Isaiah 25: 4 King James Version

I received an email last month from a friend and he said the end of the month is always hard on them financially. If you are on Social Security like I am, I am sure you can relate to that person and understand how his family feels.

The verse says that Jesus has been a Strength to the poor. He is our Strength not only financially, but also to those of us who are going through difficult situations. He is a Refuge from the storms of life. When our circumstances are more than we can bear, He is there to rescue us. He is a Shadow from the heat of criticism and cruel words.

Do you know this wonderful Friend, Jesus? Have you given Him control of your heart and life, or are you playing games with Him? There is no friend like Jesus! There is no one who cares for you like Jesus does. He Loves you so much and is waiting to hold you in His Loving Arms.

Jesus proved how much He Loves us when He died for us, and yet He shows us over and over again every day how much He cares for us. The question we need to ask ourselves is, "Do I really love Jesus"? If we really love Him, then we will prove it by our words and actions to one another.
