GOD’S DRESS CODE

"Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God."

It has turned cold and I love the cold weather. However, it makes my arthritis really hurt. This morning when I was getting dressed, I put on two pairs of pants, two regular tops, one sweatshirt, and socks. I was dressing to prevent the arthritis from hurting so badly.

These verses tell us what we need to do every morning to stand against satan. The verse says, "quench all the fiery darts of the wicked". The reason why we have so many defeats in our daily life is because we are not putting on the armour of God.

If we don’t put on all of these things that He gives us, then it is our fault that we have a bad day. Many times we blame God for bad things that happen to us and it is not His fault. He has already provided the Protection. We just need to wear His armour.

Are you dressed for the battle with satan and the world today? Just as we dress for the cold weather, we need to dress for the attacks of satan.
