The Bible says that I have a mansion prepared for me when I go Home to meet Jesus. I can’t imagine being any happier than I am right now. My days are so full of Joy and Peace, even in the midst of trials.
I spent so many years focusing on myself and my problems. There is a song, "Wasted Years", and it describes how I feel. I don’t remember all the words to it, but some of the words are, "Wasted years, wasted years, O how foolish".
The Bible says that all things work together for good to them that love God. I say this with shame in my heart, until January 24 of this year, I did not love God. I went to church and I had made a heart commitment to Jesus on August 14, 1980, so I was saved, but I didn’t love Him.
I was in love with myself, and had a pity party for years. I found out the hard way that a person might come to the party once, but that person would not come back.
I still have problems and heartaches just like you do, but I have discovered the Joy of living. Jesus not only lives in me, He Loves me. When you have the assurance of the Love of Jesus, then you need nothing else to be happy.
Are you happy today? If not, then you need to search your heart and see if you really do love Jesus.
