GOD’S KNIFE
“For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.”

KJVMy hands are hurting a lot today because of arthritis. I was trying to cut a pork chop, and I was having a difficult time due to the pain. God spoke to my heart and reminded me that sometimes we hurt when we don’t need to do so.
When we are faced with situations where people criticize, ridicule, and condemn us, we do not have to respond in the same manner. We need to realize when we respond with the same attitude; it just lowers us to their standards of living.
Several years ago when I lived in Texas, I was getting a lot of obscene phone calls. It was really bothering me and beginning to frighten me. The next time that person called and didn’t say anything, all I could hear was heavy breathing on the phone, I started quoting Scripture. That person immediately hung up and I never received another call like that again.
When will we learn to do what Jesus tells us to do? We need to let Him fight our battles. We are so limited in our own strength. Take your situations to Jesus and let Him plunge His Sword into the heart of that person.
