When you wake up in the morning, there should be a new song of praise in your heart. There should be more love for Jesus in your heart. I submit to you that if you are not able to praise Jesus with a deeper commitment to Him each day, you do not know the Heart of Jesus.
I heard this song when I was growing up and it has had a tremendous impact on me all my life, "I would love to tell you what I think of Jesus. There’s no other Friend so kind and true. I would tell you how He changed my life completely. He did something that no other friend could do".
There is no Friend like Jesus! Just thinking about Jesus and His Love and Friendship to me feels me with such contentment and joy. I can go to Him when I am sad, and He cries with me. I go to Him when I am happy, and he rejoices with me. Then there are times when I can’t say anything because I am so overwhelmed with love for Him, and He understands my heart.
Jesus is the Sunshine of my heart, the Joy of my life, and the Reason I’m living. Do you have this Joy in your heart today? Are you able to sing a new song of praise to Him each day, or are you still in the snare of satan?
