Children are very special and important to Jesus. He Loves them very, very much and is extremely displeased when they are mistreated. Children are a gift from God and they are given to us as a trust to raise them for Him.
Sometimes He gives us special blessings by sending a special needs child into our family. If you have a special needs child, you need to start rejoicing and thanking God because He only gives them to people that He trusts.
If you have ever tried to adopt a child, or know of someone who has gone through the process, then you know it is a long process. The agency checks the family out thoroughly and makes sure the environment and parents are suitable for the child. The child is the priority in the placement and his or her welfare and happiness is protected. How much more Jesus protects children and places them with parents that will love them!
A special needs child will bring love, joy, and happiness into a family. The child will teach the parents and siblings the meaning of patience and kindness. They look to their parents for almost all their needs and place their trust in their parents. Thank God for His special blessings of special needs children!
