HIS PRECIOUS ARMS

“And when they were come unto a place called Golgotha, that is to say, a place of a skull, They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink. And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that is might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots. Several months ago, my parakeet, Baby, perched on my finger and sat there for twenty minutes sleeping. My arms were aching very badly because of the arthritis, but I wouldn’t have moved for anything because I love her and had always wanted her to take a nap on my fingers.

One day, my Precious Saviour and Friend allowed us to crucify Him because of His Love for us. None of us have ever experienced the physical and emotional pain that He endured that dark, lonely day on the Cross of Calvary.

It is extremely difficult for me to write this because I can hardly bear to think about the way that my Best Friend, Jesus, was treated. What is even more heartbreaking is that each day you and I crucify Him anew by our actions and words to one another.

His Precious Hands were nailed on that cruel cross for us but He didn’t move. He endured agonizing, excruciating pain for us but He stayed on that cross so that we might be saved and be with Him for Eternity. Please don’t allow satan to keep you away from Jesus. His Arms of Love are waiting for you.
