When the day is long and the burdens heavy, rest in the arms of Jesus. At night, I lay in the arms of Jesus and He gently rocks me to sleep. There are no other arms as strong and powerful as the precious arms of our Saviour. He will always be here for us and we never have to worry about what kind of mood He will be in when we lay in His arms of Love.
His arms protect us from all our enemies. He lovingly wipes all the tears away from the poisonous darts of criticism and sarcasm. His arms are everlasting and dependable. They are strong, loving, protective and full of understanding. Yes, the Saviour of the world Loves us with a Love that is beyond description.
There is no one like Jesus. He knows what it is like to hurt and feel all alone. He suffered pain and agony that we will never fully understand. His heart was broken time and time again because of the way He was treated and the cruel things that were said to Him. How tragic that even today there are some people who are cruel to Him by the things they say and the way they live.
Have you felt His arms of Love around you as He deposited His forgiveness, mercy and salvation in your heart? Do you rest secure in His arms of protection and refuge, or are you allowing satan and the world to keep you in turmoil? Do you know Jesus as your personal Saviour? If not, open your heart to the one who Loves you so much that He stretched out His arms and died on a cruel cross of pain and heartache.
