IS HE CALLING YOU

There are many times when Jesus calls us to do something for Him but we either ignore Him or put it off. We are just as guilty as Jonah was that day. He calls us to love one another as He Loves us, yet many times we fail Him in this area of our lives. He calls us to turn off the television and pick up the telephone and call someone who is hurting and lonely. He calls us to go visit the ones who desperately need to know that someone cares about them.

He calls us to stop running with the crowd that we knew before we were saved; the crowd that will pull us back into a life of sin. When Jesus deposits His saving grace, mercy and Love into our hearts, He gives us a new life and a new heart. We need to follow Him instead of following our old companions.

Sometimes He calls us to leave our homes and our possessions and go to the mission field. He calls us to dedicate our time, talents, possessions, money and everything we have to Him. It all belongs to Him anyway. He just graciously gives us these material things for our comfort and because He Loves us. If we will listen closely, we will hear Him calling us to spend time with Him.

Jesus is calling you to leave a life of sin and accept Him as your personal Saviour. He paid an agonizing price for your salvation. Invite the Christ of Calvary into your heart and life before it’s too late. Will you answer His call of salvation today?
