I received a package today and the man that delivered it was someone I had given one of my writings to when he delivered another package a month or so ago. He said, “I really appreciate the writing. It helped me a lot”. He then went on to tell me something that he said he had never been able to share with his family or pastor.
Had I not already printed my writings so they were available to hand out, I would not have been able to give it to him and I would have sinned! God has told us that when He calls us to do something, we need to be faithful in executing that duty. I had planned to wait until I had enough writings to put them in a book format. I praise God that I started printing them out as Jesus inspired them.
We think that we have to have everything professional and perfect before we do anything. If we can write, sing, speak, preach, teach, or anything else God has given us to do, and we don’t do it, the Bible says that we are sinning.
If God has called you to write, print them out as soon as you do them. If you can sing, do not wait until you have a professional CD or Cassette. Just sing a few songs on a cassette even without music, and have them handy when someone is discouraged. Many people are on Social Security and they don’t have the money to buy books and CD’s. Let’s give out what Jesus has given to us.
