JESUS WON AGAIN

“Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the Lord, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the Lord, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea. The Lord is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father’s God, and I will exalt him. The Lord is a man of war: the Lord is his name. Pharaoh’s chariots and his host hath he cast into the sea: his chosen captains also are drowned in the Red sea. The depths have covered them: they sank into the bottom as a stone. Thy right hand, O Lord, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O Lord, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.”

Exodus 15: 1 - 6 King James Version

For the past three months I have had continuous computer problems. I had to do eight complete system recoveries and they still didn’t help. The computer would run okay for a while but then it would either slow down, give error messages or completely crash. However, Jesus used one person’s love for Him and her obedience to listen to His voice and then act on what He told her to do to bring me through this valley and set me on the mountaintop once again. I now have a brand new computer system. There is no one like Jesus! He is always faithful to restore what the enemy takes from us.

Jesus used this precious lady’s willingness to serve Him. Because of her love for Him and her obedience to Him, she sent me the money to purchase the new computer system and because she is a vessel for Jesus, He defeated satan once again and won the battle. It does not matter what trials and testings we are going through, Jesus will always bring us through them victoriously if our hearts are right before Him.

It is of extreme importance that we keep our hearts in tune with His heart and keep our eyes focused on Him. Where we make our mistakes is when we take our eyes off of Him and put them on our circumstances. I have to admit that for about six hours I allowed satan to discourage me but then I realized that it was just another one of his sneaky attacks to keep me from serving Jesus.

I humbled myself, admitted that I had sinned and I asked Jesus to please forgive me and to please give me another computer. Within two days after asking Jesus to forgive me for doubting and not trusting Him, I received an email from this dear servant of God telling me that God had laid it on her heart to buy me a new computer.

Is it because she bought me the computer that I have peace and joy once again in my heart? No, because as soon as I asked Jesus to forgive me for not trusting Him and for putting my eyes on my circumstances rather than keeping my eyes on Him, I felt the peace, joy and happiness that only He can give once more. I had His forgiveness and the peace, joy and happiness in my heart before I ever received her email.

There is no person living or will ever live that can give us this joy, peace and happiness. It only comes by being in right relationship with Jesus. How is your heart today? Are you pleasing Jesus by your words and actions, or are you bringing sorrow to His heart? Jesus will always bring you into victory if your heart is right before Him.
