This is a day of great joy, rejoicing, excitement and happiness for me. When I post this writing on my website, I will have one thousand writings on my website. What a privilege; what an honor to be able to serve my dearest friend, Jesus! I told my prayer partner that if in fact, Jesus is counting a thousand writings as one writing, then I have only written one writing for Him.
This is just the beginning of my service for Him. I look forward with joy and excitement to be able to serve Him for the rest of my life with His help. I count it a great joy, a privilege and an honor to be allowed to serve Him. I am humbled and I stand in awe that He would allow me to serve Him. I am eagerly waiting for Him to inspire me to write another thousand writings.
I receive a lot of emails telling me what a good writer I am. I appreciate all of the kind words and encouragement and I need the encouragement just like you need to be encouraged. However, I could do nothing without Jesus. He not only is my Saviour; He is my protector, my comforter, my guide, my physician and my emotional stability.
He is the one who holds my hand and walks with me through the deep valley when I am discouraged and hurting. He is the one who rejoices with me when I am on the mountaintops of joy, excitement and happiness.
He is the one who leans over and gently wipes my tears of frustration and discouragement from my eyes and cheeks with His kisses of unconditional love, tenderness and understanding. He is the one who says to me many times a day “I am with you and I will help you. I promise you that I will never leave you. You can depend on Me because I love you unconditionally”.
We have a lot of resources that we can go to when we are depressed. If it would ever penetrate our hearts that it is far more important and far more urgent to have somebody available for us to share our joy and happiness with when we are excited, there wouldn’t be so many people who are devastated and hurting because of discouragement and depression.
We have a crisis line we can call when we are hurting and feel suicidal. I believe with all of my heart that it is mandatory and urgent that we establish a happiness hotline for the times we feel like we are going to explode because of being so excited and happy!
There have been countless times when I have been so happy and excited that I felt like I was going to literally explode but there was nobody to share it with. However, it wouldn’t matter if there were twenty people living with me unless they also felt the excitement, joy and happiness that comes from serving our precious Saviour.
Have you felt this excitement and joy that comes from serving Jesus? Have you dedicated your entire life and all of your time to serving Him? If you haven’t, you are not only missing out on the greatest joy you could ever experience, you are hurting Him and making Him very sad.
I urge you to give everything you have and all of your time to the one who gave His all for you. He gave His life for you on a cruel cross of horror, agony and pain so that you may be saved and have a home in Heaven with Him for all eternity. Say “yes” to Jesus right now before it is too late!
