Jesus is the Author and Finisher of our faith. We must keep our focus on Him and not on the world. Our family and friends will fail us as they are human, just as we will fail them. Only Jesus is completely Dependable. He will never fail us or leave us alone. He will be with us in the midnight hours when the tears flow and we face our fears and loneliness.
There is no situation that Jesus can’t fix. There is no broken heart that He can’t heal. He is the Saviour of the world! He is the Bright and Morning Star! He is the Beautiful Rose of Sharon! He is the dearest Friend we will ever have!
One day if we have made a heart commitment to Jesus, we will see Him face to face. What a glorious Day that will be! How my heart yearns for my Best Friend, Jesus. I long to put my arms around Him and give Him a big hug, and try to tell Him how much I love Him and appreciate Him. I am going to spend all Eternity with the One who Loved me so much that He stretched out His Precious Arms on the Cross of Calvary and died for me.
There is no real Peace without Jesus in our hearts and lives. Worldly possessions and everything the world has to offer doesn’t begin to come close to the Peace and Joy that Jesus gives us when He deposits His Love into our hearts.
Open your heart and life to the Saviour of the world. He is waiting for you to invite Him into your heart and life. Without Him, everything is meaningless.
