LOVING OUR SAVIOUR

“The Lord hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee; Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion.”

Psalm 20: 1, 2 King James Version

I have received several emails from people over the last year that said they doubted that Jesus Loves them and that He will always be with them. I understand how they feel because I used to feel like that. However, the last time someone told me that she didn’t trust Jesus, it made me very sad.

Jesus does not need defending. He can take care of Himself. However, when you love someone you get upset when someone says something negative about that person. Jesus defends us all the time. It is time for us to start defending Him by reassuring people that He does Love them, and that He will never leave them.

It breaks my heart to realize that I doubted Jesus for so many years even after He hung on a cruel cross for my sins. He can do no more to prove His Love for us. He paid the highest price you can pay. He died for us willingly because He Loves us. The Love of Jesus is available to all who will open their hearts to Him. He Loves us and longs to fellowship with us.

It upsets us when someone says something negative about our loved ones. We should get very upset when people curse using His precious Name. It breaks the Heart of Jesus when we don’t trust Him. We put more trust in the chairs that we sit on than we do in Jesus. When we sit down we don’t think about if the chair is going to hold us, we do it automatically. May God forgive us for trusting a chair more than we do Jesus!
