MORNING FINALLY CAME

“I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears. Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxeth old because of all mine enemies. Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping.”

Psalm 6: 6 - 8 King James Version

Sometimes night comes in the middle of the day as criticism, sarcasm, discouragement and heavy burdens attack us. There are times when the attacks are so devastating that we are unable to run to Jesus. It is then that we need to tell someone who we trust that we are in need of prayer and to please put us on the pillow of Love. As soon as we realize that we are being attacked, we need to cry out for someone to pray for us. Don’t wait until the attack is so severe that you can’t cry out for help.

I went through a very devastating attack from satan today. I didn’t realize what was going on at first. I just thought I was having an off day. As soon as I realized what it was that was attacking me, I cried out to my best friend to put me on the pillow of love, Jesus. I went through the darkness of night for many hours today. Morning finally came for me when I stopped trying to fix the situation on my own and allowed Jesus to take over, stop the attack and comfort me.

Whatever heartaches and burdens you are carrying today, there is hope for you. Jesus is faithful. He will always bring us to victory if we will trust Him and stop trying to do it ourselves. We are powerless against the attacks of the world and satan. It takes Jesus, our shield and defender and the rock of all ages to fight our battles for us. Are you anchored in Jesus?
