A friend of mine just asked me to call her, but it’s long distance and I don’t have the money to make long distance calls. However, there is no charge to call Jesus. I can call Him anytime day or night. I never have to make an appointment either.

How many times during a day do you pick up the phone to talk to someone? Have you picked up the phone in your heart to talk to Jesus today? He is waiting for your call. Most of the time when I call Him, I don’t say much. I have learned to be quiet so He can talk to me.

When the storms of life overwhelm you, Jesus is waiting for your call. Our family, loved ones, and friends can help us in a difficult situation, but only Jesus can take the pain and hurt from our hearts.

If you spend more time talking on the phone then do you do talking to Jesus, then you are missing a great blessing, besides breaking His Heart.
