NO CONDEMNATION

“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.”

Romans 8: 1 King James Version

Jesus does not condemn us, He forgives us. When we go to Him and ask Him to forgive us, He does not lecture us for an hour telling us everything we have done wrong. He forgives us and puts it under His precious blood and never holds it against us again.

All of us fail Jesus every day in some way. There is always something more that we could have done for Him that we didn’t do that day. We may fail Him by the things we say to our loved ones, and the way we treat our loved ones. However, this verse says if we walk after the Spirit and not the flesh, He doesn’t condemn us. He understands our weaknesses, but He also knows our heart. He knows if we really love Him and desire to serve Him, or if we are just playing games with Him.

I receive so many emails from people who say they can’t forgive themselves for what they have done in their past. I felt the same way for years until one day God spoke to my heart and said “When you don’t forgive yourself, you are calling Me a liar. I have told you “For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and iniquities will I remember no more”. (Hebrews: 8: 12 King James Version)

We need to stop condemning ourselves and accept His forgiveness and Love which He so graciously gives us. Above all, we need to stop condemning people and start loving them and praying for them. We need to encourage each other instead of discouraging each other.
