Several people have already signed my guestbook on my new website and as I was reading it, this thought came to my mind. God doesn’t have a guestbook for us to sign. His book of life is not a guestbook; it is a permanent record of the names He has written down through the blood of Jesus. We can’t write our names ourselves. God writes our names in His book of life when the blood of Jesus is applied to our hearts.
I wonder what Jesus would write in our guest books if He were still here on earth. Would He write that we are bringing joy to His Heart? Would He sign them with tears in His eyes or with a smile on His face?
One day, I am going to see Jesus face to face and I don’t want Him to look at me with tears in His eyes because I failed to tell others of His Love. O friends, there is an urgency to telling others of the Love of Jesus. It’s important to tell them how to be saved, by admitting they are sinners and asking Jesus to forgive them and come into their hearts to be their personal Saviour. However, if they don’t know that He loves them, they won’t have any desire to invite Him into their hearts.
Are you spreading the Love of Jesus? Are you showing others how much Jesus Loves them by your actions to them? Are you hugging them for Jesus? There are so many people who are hurting and sometimes words aren’t enough. They need a hug from Jesus and we are the ones to hug for Jesus.
