NOT ABOUT ME

“Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

Acts 4: 10 – 12 King James Version

I have nine hundred and ninety writings posted on my website as of today. However, I didn’t write them; Jesus wrote them through me. I am simply the one who types them; He is the Author of these writings and He is also the inspiration for them. It is not about me and it is not about you; it’s all about Jesus. He is the Saviour of the world, not me and not you.

He is the one who was hung on a cross of torture and horror. He is the one who was spat upon, beaten beyond recognition, scorned, ridiculed, criticized and crucified. I have been to many websites and saw this statement posted on the websites “We saved many people”. That is a lie straight from the pits of hell.

Only Jesus can save a person. Only Jesus can take a sin hardened heart and change it into a loving heart of compassion. May God forgive us for making ourselves equal with the Saviour of the world! I’ve seen preachers and evangelists on television laying hands on people and telling the people they were healed because the preachers and evangelists laid their hands on them. Again, that is not true. Not one time have I seen or heard them thank Jesus for healing the people.

Jesus is the great Physician; He is the healer, not us. We don’t have the power to heal anybody. It is Jesus working through us that brings healing to someone who has a disease, someone who is broken hearted and someone who is in the depths of despair and depression. Jesus has not been here for two thousand years. He has left us to hug people for Him, to tell people the good news of our precious, risen, loving and victorious Saviour.

We are to love people to Him through our kind words and the kind things that we do for them. It is time that we give Jesus all of the praise and it is time that we stop praising people. Jesus, and only Jesus, deserves the glory. He is the only one who is worthy of being honored, respected, praised, worshipped and adored. He is the King of kings and Lord of lords.

Yes, it is all about Jesus and His amazing unconditional love for us. Thank God that He loved us enough to send His only Son to die for us and thank God that Jesus loved us enough to die for us. There is no one like Jesus. No one loves us like God and Jesus love us. Worthy is the Lamb of God! All hail, King Jesus!

We sing this song “I stand amazed in the presence of Jesus the Nazarene and wonder how He could love me, a sinner condemned unclean” and indeed I do stand amazed that the Saviour of the world loves me. He not only loves me; He loves every person in the world. All of us are precious to Him. He doesn’t play favorites. When we hurt, He hurts. When we are happy, He is happy. We serve a loving compassionate Saviour. Thank You, Jesus, for loving us when we were so unlovely.
