I almost didn’t send the writing that I did yesterday because I thought that it didn’t make sense and that I wasn’t expressing it correctly. However, I received emails telling me how much they appreciated the writing.
A pastor friend of mine in Texas said “I went home from church this morning feeling discouraged because I didn’t think that I presented the sermon as it should have been, yet I have received more feedback about this sermon than any other sermon”.
I think that sometimes we try to take over God’s job. It is not our responsibility for the end result. The results are in His Hands. Our job is to preach, teach, sing, write, and use our talents for Him. We think that what we do has to look and sound professional before we allow others to see or hear it. May God forgive us!
Some of us plant, some of us water, but it is God Who gives the increase. Let’s sing, teach, preach, write, and use our talents to point others to Jesus and exalt His Precious Name.
