NOT WITHOUT TEARS

“They that sow in tears shall reap in joy. He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.”

Psalm 126: 5, 6 King James Version

Many of us have children who are not serving Jesus and it is breaking our hearts. Some of us have children who have never accepted Him as their personal Saviour. We, as parents, have the privilege, joy and responsibility to pray for them to be saved, fall in love with Jesus and serve Him. It is impossible to serve Jesus unless we love Him. We can say all the right words and do all the right things but if they don’t come from our hearts they are meaningless and stink in the nostrils of Jesus. He knows our hearts and He knows if we are giving Him lip service or serving Him because we love Him.

There must be a time when we cry out with broken hearts to Jesus to save our children and to bring them back into the fold. Unless we go to Him with broken hearts and tears and plead with Him for our children, our prayers are in vain. Tears are precious to Jesus. He keeps them in a bottle. (Psalm 56:8) Nothing moves the heart of Jesus than people who pray with tears in their hearts. It is not enough to have tears in our eyes; we must have tears in our hearts for our children.

We need to understand that our children belong to God. He simply gives them to us to be His babysitters. If you have ever been a babysitter then you know that the parents have rules and guidelines for you to follow. It is the same with God. He has given us instructions and guidelines in the Bible on how He wants His children raised. Since we are human we will fail Him as His babysitters but He knows our hearts and He knows if we really do love Him and our children.

Unless you have made a heart commitment to Jesus and asked Him to forgive you of your sins and come into your heart to be your personal Saviour, you will be unable to pray for your children to be saved. O friends, if you haven’t said yes to Jesus, I urge you, I plead with you to do it now even as you read this. He Loves you and died on a cruel cross to prove His Love for you. He is waiting for you with His arms open wide and a heart filled with unconditional love, forgiveness, mercy, tenderness, grace and understanding.

Run to Jesus and give Him your heart and life. You will have a joy, peace and happiness that you have never known. There is no one like Jesus! No one loves like Jesus Loves! There is no friend like Jesus! Worthy is the Lamb of God! All hail, King Jesus! Worthy are You to be praised, adored, magnified, exalted and worshipped. Thank You, Jesus, for loving us.
