NO WORDS

“Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer.”

Psalm 19: 14 King James Version

Last night when I went to bed, I started to pray and I couldn’t find the right words to tell Him what I wanted to say. I just said these two words over and over again “Jesus” “Hallelujah”. I started saying them in my heart quietly and then they became a joyous shout, and then I said them in awe of my Great Saviour and Friend.

Jesus understood everything I said in those two words. He heard my gratitude for all He has done for me. He heard the prayers of my heart for my family and friends. He heard every prayer request for the people who have emailed me asking for prayer.

Joyce Landorf says on one of her teaching tapes, “Friends have given me gifts and food. I walk pass the refrigerator and have a worship service because that is the real meaning of the Love of Jesus”. I don’t know if she meant that she literally had a worship service, but I literally have a worship service.

I look around my trailer and I see all the wonderful things that Jesus has given me through my family and friends and I stand in awe of the Love Jesus extends to me. What a Saviour! What a Friend! I have food, clothing, electricity, water, furniture, a computer and printer, telephones, carpet, towels, washrags, sheets, blankets and pillows, and shoes for my feet.

How can we not give our lives in service to the One Who gave His all for us! Do you have a daily, personal relationship with Him, or is He just Someone you call when you need help?
