We need people to witness to us about our Saviour, but there comes a time in every person’s life when he or she must know Him personally. I listened to sermons and testimonies and read about Jesus for years, but I didn’t know for myself that He is indeed the Saviour of the world. I had to admit that I was a sinner and ask Him to forgive me and come into my heart and save me. Only then, did I know Him personally.
Your family, loved ones, and friends can’t get you into Heaven. They can’t make the reservation for you. You have to do it. You have to humble yourself and tell Jesus you need Him. He is waiting for you to come to Him. He Loves you so much, so much that He hung on the Cross for you.
I look around my office as I sit here typing, and I see all the material things that He has provided for my comfort. What a Saviour we have! He gives us food to eat, clothes to wear, shoes for our feet, beds to sleep on, pillows to rest our heads on, blankets to keep us warm when it’s cold, and fans to cool us when it’s hot.
After all He has done for us, how can we do less than give Him our lives and our time. He doesn’t ask much from us considering all He has done for us. He tells us to love one another as He Loves us. Are we doing what He asks us to do? Are we loving one another with His unconditional Love? Jesus is a Beautiful, Loving Saviour, the Saviour of the world.
