There are times in our lives when it feels like we are being attacked with criticism and sarcasm daily. I have received so many emails from people who have said that they or someone they know are being abused verbally and emotionally.
I received another email this morning from a person who asked me to remove her from my mailing list because I had said that everyone has sinned. She told me in the email this morning that “I am not a sinner and never fail Jesus and I don’t appreciate being lumped with sinners and the people who do fail Him”.
When we are attacked by satan and people who say harsh and critical things to us, we need to run to Jesus and let Him comfort us and encourage our hearts. We should pray for these people who are accusing us. We also need to be an encouragement to each other. All of us need to be encouraged because we are human and we hurt.
Jesus understands our hurt and He feels our pain. He was criticized and ridiculed more than anyone. If you are hurting today, take it to Jesus and allow Him to kiss away your tears. He will be faithful to comfort, encourage and inspire you. There is no one like Jesus! No one Loves like our wonderful Saviour! Worthy is the Lamb of God! He deserves to be praised and honored. Thank You, Jesus, for Loving us.
