There are times when we get weary in our everyday lives with the struggles and burdens we carry. It is then that this verse becomes our heart’s cry. I am longing to see Jesus. I would be so happy if He would come back even as I am typing this, except for one thing. I have many loved ones and friends who don’t have Jesus in their hearts.
None of us really believe that He is coming quickly, because if we did, we would never worry about anything. We wouldn’t waste time feeling sorry for ourselves and we sure wouldn’t sit around watching television all day long. All of us have loved ones and friends who haven’t made a heart commitment to Jesus. We need to grasp this verse in our hearts. Jesus is coming quickly!!
Sometimes I get discouraged because of criticism and sarcasm that I get in emails. I received two this morning and I was tempted to shut off the computer and go take a nap. However, that would make satan happy, and I am not going to do anything to please him. I know that there are many people who read these writings that Jesus inspires that don’t know that Jesus Loves them. As long as Jesus gives me breath and helps me to do so, I will write what He gives me to encourage people.
O friends, the time is short! Jesus is coming quickly and it may be today. Are you ready to meet Him? Are there any unconfessed sins in your life? If so, you need to make it right with Him before it is too late.
