What a power packed passage of Scripture filled with expectancy, hope, and comfort! You probably have heard someone shout at a sporting event, or sad to say, at a member of your family or even at you. I believe that when Jesus descends and shouts, that shout will equal and perhaps excel any trumpet we have ever heard.
Someone once told me that she got a little down and discouraged if she didn’t have a trip planned or something that was going to happen. One day, Jesus is coming back for us. We don’t know the date or the time but there is no doubt about it. He is coming back for us and I am filled with excitement and longing to see Him.
My bags are packed and I am ready to go. I make sure that I go to Him daily and ask forgiveness for my sins. I ask Him to please keep my heart in tune with His Heart so that others will see and hear Jesus in me. I fail Him many, many times but He still Loves me and forgives me.
Just as we have to keep our cars tuned up, the pressure in the tires checked, and the car polished, so we have to allow Jesus to tune our hearts on a daily basis. We need Him to take away all the things that are displeasing to Him. Have you allowed Jesus to take away the things that hurt Him?
