PARTS AND LABOR

“And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed, Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him. And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.”

Luke 22: 41- 44 King James Version

The monitor and CD drive on my computer are defective and new parts are being shipped to me. I don’t have to pay for them because I am still under warranty. However, when I was setting up the order for them to be replaced, I told them that I lived alone and was unable physically to replace the CD drive myself. I told them they needed to have one of their techs come to my home and replace it for me when the part was delivered.

They told me they would be happy to make that arrangement for me. After doing the paper work, they informed me that it would be thirty nine dollars. I reminded them that it was free because it is still under warranty. They said the parts are free, but there is a charge for the labor.

Thank God that He Loves us so much that He does not charge for His Labors for us. One day, Jesus sweat so much that it was as great drops of blood falling down to the ground. There is nothing we can do buy salvation. It is only through accepting the finished work of Jesus on the Cross that we are forgiven. Please, if you haven’t invited Jesus into your heart, do it now.
