My brother-in-law just called me and his phone call was right on time. I have been in a lot of pain this morning from my arthritis and my legs, neck, and back are really bothering me. While the pain is still there, my heart was warmed by him taking his valuable time to call me.
There are so many people who are hurting physically, emotionally, and spiritually. They need someone who cares enough to call them or go visit them. All of us, no matter how busy our schedule may be, can take five minutes and call someone.
All of us need family, friends, and loved ones. We can’t make it alone. I think that is why the Bible says that we are to encourage one another. The person who thinks that he or she does not need anyone is deceiving himself or herself.
Have you ever had trouble sleeping and it seemed like it would never be morning? That is how it is in a lot of people’s hearts. The darkness of satan has crept into their hearts, and they desperately need somebody to tell them about the Light of the Love of Jesus.
Will you take time today to call someone? Tell that person how much Jesus Loves him or her and reassure him or her that Jesus does understand and care.
