Yesterday, satan threw his poisonous darts of discouragement and heaviness to my heart. The attack was heavy and lasted about four hours. I started praising Jesus and thanking Him that He was going to get me through the attack victorious. He always gives me the victory.
We might as well get ready and stay on the alert because satan will always attack us at our most vulnerable spot. If you were an alcoholic, he will tempt you to drink. No matter what our weakness is, he will tempt us to do it. This is why it is vital to stay in right relationship with God. We don’t have the right to ask Him to help us if our hearts are not right with Him.
Jesus also gives us encouragement through our loved ones and friends. Last night, He put it in a wonderful Christian lady’s heart to adopt me in her heart as a daughter. I have known this dear lady for over a year and she loves Jesus very much. I also contacted a dear Pastor friend of mine and asked him to pray for me. However, his prayers and this dear lady’s encouragement would not have helped if my heart had not been right with Jesus.
If you are being attacked by satan and critical words, start praising Jesus and He will always give you the victory. He Loves you and it hurts Him to see you sad.
