There are times when we grow weary and as much as we want to serve Jesus, we feel like there is a roadblock in our way. It is then that we need to call upon Jesus and ask Him to refresh us and fill us with His strength. All of us have difficult days and it seems like we can’t finish what we set out to do. We need to remember that we don’t have the ability to do anything without Jesus. We are simply His vessels; He is the One who does the work.
If our jobs, our busy schedules, the world and satan keep us from serving Jesus during the day, we shouldn’t go to bed until we have done what He has asked us to do that day. It is vital that we remain consistent and faithful in doing what He has entrusted to us. If He has given us a ministry, then we need to be certain that we ask Him to help us accomplish what He wants us to do that day.
If you are weary and discouraged today, remember it is Jesus and not you that does the work. Allow Him to fill you once again with His strength. Without Jesus, we can do nothing. Do you know Him as your personal Saviour? If not, please invite the Christ of Calvary into your heart.
He will be faithful to forgive you, cleanse you of your sins and give you a new heart and life. If you have accepted Him as your personal Saviour, do you love Him? If so, what are you doing to show Him that you love Him?
