If you have ever built a house, then you know you must have a firm foundation. It is the same with our lives. We must allow Jesus to be our Foundation. When we have Jesus as our Foundation, then all hell can come against us and we can still stand in His Strength.
For years, I allowed the world and people to be my foundation and I fell every time. When we place our hopes and expectations on things of the world, we will be disappointed every time because satan likes nothing better than to discourage us.
Jesus is our Rock, and satan is the sand. We have a choice to make in this life. We can choose to build our lives on the world and satan, or we can build our lives on Jesus. What is your choice?
Recently, I went through a very difficult time and if it were not for the fact that Jesus is my Rock and Foundation, I would have gone to bed and stayed there. However, because I know Jesus will always get the Victory in any situation, I just kept praising Him.
If you are facing obstacles in your life, then I urge you to make Jesus your Foundation. He will never fail you, or hurt you. Jesus is Trustworthy because what He says, He will do. Praise the Rock of our Salvation!
