SIN NO MORE

“When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.”

John 8: 10, 11 King James Version

Jesus did not condemn the woman, He told her to go and sin no more. If Jesus doesn’t condemn, then we shouldn’t condemn people. Sometimes we try to play God and judge people when it is not our place to do so. We are to pray for one another and set the example by the way we live our lives.

We need to understand that just because Jesus Loves and forgives us, that does not give us the freedom to continue sinning. Not only did He shed His Precious Blood for our sins, we break His Heart when we continue to do the same things after He has forgiven us.

All of us sin, none of us are perfect and we need to lose our “Holier than thou attitudes”. If we don’t steal, but tell a lie, then we are also sinning. We need to become encouragers to one another. We need to love one another unconditionally as Jesus has commanded us to do.

If we will pray for our loved ones instead of judging, criticizing and condemning them, they will see Jesus in us and will be drawn closer to Him. Are you an accuser or an encourager?
