Christians are in a battle with satan and the world, especially if we have committed our lives in full time service to Jesus. All hell will come against us daily trying to discourage us from serving Him. These verses tell us to stand! If we know that we are doing what God has called us to do, then we should not let anyone or anything keep us from serving Jesus.
Get ready! Be prepared because you will be attacked for your stand for Jesus. You will be ridiculed, scorned, criticized, and treated badly. Start rejoicing because they did the same thing to Jesus! We need to be thankful that we can understand just a little of what He went through on this earth so that we will appreciate His Love and Sacrifice for us.
When satan hurls his fiery darts at us, we need to stand in the Power of Jesus. We don’t have any power or strength. It is the Blessed Son of God living in us that is our Power and Strength. He will stop the darts of criticism and hatred. What a Loving Protector and Friend we have!
Sometimes people allow satan to use them to attack other Christians. We need to stay alert and be certain that we don’t let satan sneak up on us with his hurtful barbs. Stand fast and watch Jesus knock satan down again!
