I heard an evangelist say one time in a sermon “If you don’t like what you see, hang around because I’m still in the oven and God is still baking me”. We need to be vigilant in our daily lives because satan would like nothing better than to discourage and defeat us.
It is tragic but even people who claim to be Christians allow satan to use them for his purpose. I received two hateful emails from the same lady this morning, and yet on her website, she talks about the Love of Jesus. If we really love Jesus and want to make Him happy, we won’t criticize people out of spite and jealousy.
None of us are perfect. All of us are still in the oven and God is still baking us. Praise God! One day, we will be with Jesus and we will have no more ugliness and hatred in our lives. If you are criticizing others, please stop it and pray for those people. Only God can change a heart and life.
I have received many emails asking for prayer because of broken homes and broken hearts. We need to encourage one another instead of being so judgmental all the time. We need to remember where we were, and where God brought us from in our sinful lives.
The next time we are tempted to criticize out of jealousy, spite, and malice, we need to run to Jesus and ask Him to forgive us and help us keep our big mouths shut! God’s Oven may be hot but it’s better than spending an eternity in hell with satan.
