I sent out a prayer request yesterday to some of my closest friends. Within an hour, I had received fifty-two emails praying for me. God spoke to my heart and said that if we would encourage and say kind things to one another all the time, satan would have a very difficult time trying to discourage us.
I am just as guilty as everyone else. I do not send encouraging emails, or call people as often as I should. One of the greatest gifts we can give our loved ones and friends for Christmas is to tell them how much we love them and how much they mean to us.
When someone dies the pastor or someone says something in honor of the person, but the person that has died does not hear it. We need to tell people how much they mean to us right now. It might stop someone from committing suicide.
Have you told Jesus today how much He means to you and how much you love Him? He is waiting to hear from us. He longs to fellowship with us. Please tell Jesus, your family, loved ones, and friends how much you love them right now.
