My sister and I went out to eat yesterday and as we were driving along, both of us commented on the beautiful sky. I said that no person could paint something this beautiful. One day, Jesus painted my heart with the Precious Blood that He shed for me on the Cross.
Christmas will be here in less than three weeks and it is a Celebration of the Birth of the Christ Child. Yet, Jesus grew up and went to the Cross for us and suffered such agony and torment that no words can adequately describe it.
A soldier pierced His side with a spear, and today we pierce His Heart by the way we treat people. He has asked us to be kind to each other and to extend His Love to others. We can’t do that unless He has painted our hearts with His Blood.
What color is your heart today? Is it red with the Precious Blood of Jesus, or is it black with the ugliness of satan? The best gift that you could give Jesus on His Birthday is to give Him your heart. What will you give to Jesus for His Birthday?
