Have you ever went to the sink to put water in a glass only to realize that it is already as full as it can get without running over? The same is true when we confess our sins, ask Jesus to forgive us and come into our hearts to be our personal Saviour; we receive all three in our hearts at the same time, the Father, the Word and the Holy Ghost because they are one.

Over the last two years I have received many emails from people who have told me that they have Jesus in their hearts, but they don’t have the Holy Spirit yet. That is not scriptural and it is a lie and trick of the devil. When we accept Jesus as our personal Saviour we also have the Holy Spirit because they are one. We already have all we need to live for Jesus but unless and until we exercise our spiritual gifts we will never be able to serve Jesus as He desires us to serve Him. We already have the Holy Spirit but we must allow Him to empower us and stir up our gifts.

Is your glass full today? Do you have God the Father, Jesus the Word and the Holy Spirit in your heart today? Has there ever been a time in your life when you admitted you are a sinner and on your way to eternity without Jesus and without hope? If not, I pray with all my heart that you will say “yes” to the Saviour of the world today. He paid an agonizing price for your salvation on the cruel cross of Calvary. Give Him your heart and life before it is too late! You may not have tomorrow.
