THE HILLS OF LOVE

“I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.”

Psalm 121: 1-5 King James Version

Sometimes we are too excited to sleep, and other times pain and concerns keep us awake. We are tempted to call someone and talk to them but it is the middle of the night and we don’t want to wake them. Jesus never sleeps. He is always awake and alert to listen to us when we call Him no matter what time we call.

If you are facing difficulties in your life and are having trouble sleeping, look up to Jesus because He is waiting for you. Jesus understands because He suffered also. He knows what it is like to feel pain, sorrow, and loneliness.

When we climb a hill, it takes a lot of effort but Jesus is our Hill of Love and all we have to do is reach out our hand and He will grasp it and pull us up out of the valley of despair, pain, heartache, and loneliness.

When the heat of satan and criticism becomes more than we can bear, He will be our Shade and Comfort. I urge you to open your heart to the Hill of Love. Allow Jesus to be your refuge when the pain is too much to bear.
